Chinese Famille Rose square planter with 2 handles having stunning painting and enamel around, on the front is a Cartouche with a Court Scene on the back the same scene but in reverse (like a mirror image), on the sides Cartouches of flying butterflies and birds also in reverse (like a mirror image), on the bottom the Apocryphal Mark Seal of Emperor Qianlong (but we believe this piece is 19th Century). A very impressive piece that will make a collector very happy! The piece measures approx. 8 (20cm) high x approx. 6″ (15cm) x 6-3/4″ (17cm) Square at the top x appro. 5-1/2 (14cm) Square at the bottom. This piece is in very good condition for it’s age.
