A Rare Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Lotus Porcelain Bowls with Covers Qianlong Marks. This pair of bowls are enameled with rows of overlapping lotus petals between the green foot. The covers are decorated en suite with petals overlapping a band of green leaves below a central seed pod surmounted by a glut final. There are 6 Chinese characters Qianlong mark on the bottom of each bowl but they could be made later anywhere between the late Qing dynasty and the republic era. This kind of bowls rarely come in pairs. Priced to sell due to struggling of small business caused by COVID. Size: bowl: 6.6/16.76cm in diameter, 2.5/6.3cm tall; cover/lid: 6.2/15.7cm in diameter, 2.75/7cm tall. Condition: Great antique condition with age appropriate wear with some loss on the gilt.
