A large antique Chinese famille rose charger, Early 18th c Yongzheng / Qianlong. Big nice example of early 18th c Chinese famille rose. The charger is likely from the Yongzheng period or possibly early Qianlong. Decoration still in a very vibrant and beautiful condition. Cm or 15,1 Inch. Checked with UV light. One 2 cm hairline to the rim which is almost impossible to see without uv light. Some micro nicks to the backside if the rim. This also includes to carefully look at all pictures. Large Qianlong Marked Famille Boys Playing Successful Sons Covered Jar Republic

Large Qianlong Marked Famille Successful Sons/ Boys Playing Covered Jar with pair of pink elephant head handles on each side. While the decoration may look like children playing, it is in fact filled with symbolic meaning. The top cover shows the five boys representing the sons of Dou Yujun all of whom reached phenomenal success in their respective career. They were known as the “five dragons”. The boy holding a ruyi scepter represents “as you desire” and a wish that all your desires come true. The boy holding a spear called a ji is a homophone for grade, referring to the grades in the imperial exams. The spear tied with a ribbon representing the wish that generations of the family celebrate success also in the imperial exams. The vase with stalk of grains and a lantern as being carried by the other boys form the elements of the rebus heping dengke which is a desire for peaceful ascendency in one’s official career. The lantern represents abundance and the tree fruit branches represent longevity, blessings and abundance of sons. There’s total of 12 boys in the body of the jar which possibly represent the 6 grandchildren of the five sons. Mark: Apocryphal 6 characters red Qianlong mark on the botton base. Size: Approximately 9 inches high x 7.5 inches in diameter. Condition: Good used condition with normal wear and tear. No major damage aside from very small flakes or tiny chips on the edges top rim please see pictures. Not noticeable in my opinion and only mentioned for accuracy. The lid has a surface star crack to the interior. The lid has two chips and some fritting to the rim. — The base has a large crack to the rim with some losses/chipping at the top of it. The base some fritting to the handles, raised edges and rim. The base has a further small rim chip and some faults to the foot rim. Large Chinese Imperial Qianlong Bottle Vase Fencai Dragon Yellow Famille Rose

LARGE CHINESE QIANLONG FENCAI YELLOW GLAZE DRAGON BOTTLE VASE. The vase is a globular shape with a tapered neck and a round foot. The design features both a green and red dragon against a yellow background. The shoulder of the vase has a band of blue and turquoise flowers against a pink background. The neck of the vase is decorated with flowers, scrolls, and even a few fish. The design is expertly executed and has a textured feel to it. The vase stands about 13 3/4″ tall and the body is approximately 9 1/8″ wide. I don’t know hold old the vase actually is, since many pieces with Qianlong marks were made after his reign to honor the designs from that period. It appears to have some age to it. I’m also including a carved wooden display stand. Condition of this Qianlong dragon vase is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. The yellow enamel has a few small spots of loss exposing the white glaze underneath. I also see a few areas with very minor crazing. These are good signs that the vase has some age to it. Overall, this very fine vase looks fantastic and displays beautifully. It would make a wonderful addition to any Chinese porcelain collection. Please take a close look at the many photos I’ve provided and judge condition for yourself. It could be worth much more, I’m not sure. See my other listings. For more great items! A Large Beautifully Painted Famille Rose Lidded Jar. 4 Character Qianlong Mark

A Large beautifully painted barrel form Famille Rose Lidded Jar. (Ginger jar) A 4 character Qianlong mark to the base, but could be later. To one side a finely painted reserve depicting figures in an Imperial court scene. The Emperor surrounded by court officials and ladies, the other side is painted with a bouquet containing a multitide of fruit and flowers. The borders are gilded and decorated with fruit, flowers and auspicious symbols. The top and bottom of the jar again beautifully enameled with flowers and symbols. The lid with it amber coloured finial sits snugly with in the jars aperture. It measures approximately 26cm high. (Does not include height of finial) 29.5cm high inclusive of the finial. Approximately 19cm diameter across the top. Jar opening aperture is approximately 9cm diameter. Please view the photos carefully as they are a vital part of the description.
