A large Chinese export famille rose porcelain punch bowl, Qianlong period, 18. This is a fine porcelain bowl with a high ring base and decorated with patterned rim bands inside and outside over bands of purple lattice patterns with moths and roses. With a center medallion with a shell, moths and roses, and the exterior with additional monogrammed ovals with swags. (30.5 cm); height: 5.25 in. (13.3 cm); good condition.

Please read the whole description! On offer is a Chinese Qianlong Period (1736 – 1795) Export Porcelain Punch Bowl. It is approximately 23.5 cm long, 23.3 cm wide (so not perfectly circular) and 10.5 cm tall at the widest points. Hand-painted with a very popular and sought after Famille Rose pattern. This punch bowl would make an excellent decorative item, alongside a piece for any serious Chinese porcelain collection. Condition Report: This bowl is in reasonable/good antique condition with a few blemishes. There are some firing faults here and there as per similarly dated items. There are some/ a few spots with stains present. Last there are three hairlines/cracks running through the sides of the bowls that are quite noticeable. They are 11, 8.5, and 3 cm long. But that is quite normal for an item of this age. And most of these punch bowls have such hairlines, alongside more serious damages and repairs. It is approximately 29 cm long/wide and 19 cm tall at the widest points. Hand-painted with a very popular and sought after Famille Rose pattern. This piece definitely qualified! Offering it here, as I need some funds for some future business plans. This punch bowl would make an excellent decorative item, alongside a piece for any serious Chinese porcelain collection. If you are a serious collector of Chinese porcelain, this is a must have! Condition Report: This bowl is in good antique condition with 2/3 blemishes. There are some/ a few spots on the inner side with stains present. There is a hairline crack running through the rim. It is about 6.8 – 7 cm long. Last, there is a chip (and associated losses) on the foot rim. But all these blemishes are only minor, especially considering age and size of this bowl. This is definitely on the bigger size, and those bowls often have massive cracks, damages and repairs. But not this one, a quite rare find.
