Here to add to your decor is this lovely pair of Famille Verte vases made in the early to mid 20th century. A young man asks the father for the young lady’s hand in marriage. On the reverse panel the the couple are joyously wed as looked upon with the blessing of both father and Buddha. They are nicely carved to create relief In the features. The people, The flowers, the Trees, all are raised from the white ground. The Details are neatly outlined. Soft colors set a tender mood. They measure 76 cm tall and 35 cm wide. One of the two has had the bottom repaired. It is shown in the pictures. These will be packaged in a wood and particle board shell and encased in foam blocks.
