Chinese famille rose basket and stand, Qianlong (1736-95), of oval form with spreading perforated sides and foliate rim the interior well decorated with floral sprays within an interlinked chain the rim with a floral hatched cellular border, the exterior with moulded floral motif, with twin looped upright gilded handles; the stand similarly decorated with perforated sides, the rims gilded; diameter of stand: 11 3/8 in. ; height of basket: 4 3/8 in.
