A Chinese porcelain famille rose octagonal bowl. Painted to the exterior with winged beasts, floral motifs and scrollwork on a deep rose ground, below a yellow ruyi border and above a blue Greek key border to the flared, circular foot. The interior is enamelled with a five toed dragon, two phoenix and a flaming pearl amidst clouds and flames on a yellow ground, below a turquoise ruyi border, 13.5cm diameter, 6cm high.
