This Chinese bowl was made during the Qianlong period (circa 1780). It measures 10 1/4″ in diameter and is slightly over 4 1/2″ tall. It’s beautifully painted on the outside with two panels featuring men, women and children. The opposing panels have lovely florals. The inside is just as lovely with four bats painted in to the rim decoration and a flower in the center of the bowl. There is an old, stable hairline that is visible on both the inside and outside of the bowl and a small one that is only visible on the outside of one of the floral panels.
