Cream base color with blue scrolls and multicolored floral designs. It has intricately detailed scenes painted on front and back. The images show 7 men sitting in a group in what appears to be a meeting inside a room. There’s floral accents and room furnishings. It is nicely painted in rich pastels and deep colors. From research, we can confirm that this very well made pottery piece is authentic to its age. This is not a later reproduction. Measures 9″ across top by 6-3/4″ high. Base is 5-1/4 in diameter. Widest area of the body is about 7-1/2 across. Lip is 3/4 wide. Weighs almost 4 lbs. In almost perfect vintage/antique condition. No chips or nicks. Some stains inside and exterior of the bottom from normal aging and shelfwear. Tiny age split/crack on the top lip as shown in last photo.
