A rare Chinese export porcelain famille rose plate, showing the Judgement of Paris design, from the 18th Century Qianlong period Qing Dynasty. The delicately painted figures derive from a painting by Jean Paul Rubens. This plate measures 9 inches diameter. It has a short stress line about 1 inch long, and glaze peeling off. No further chip or restoration. The last picture shows a sale result from Sothebys for a similar plate 10 years ago.
