Very Rare Qianlong Famille Rose 26cm Bowl Chelsea, Derby Meissen European Decoration. 26cm by 20cm wise and 8cm tall. Imitating the finest of European decoration, this piece was also made at the famous at Chelsea and Derby Porcelain Manufactory in soft paste porcelain and at Meissen in Germany in hard paste porcelain. The Derby example is in the Gardiner Museum in Ontario and the Chelsea in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Basket weave pattern to the exterior with applied moulded flowers and leaves to the edge and interior. Superb floral sprays with Butterfly and Beetle to the interior and a brown decorative top edge. Condition is very good with just typical loss of some applied florals as shown. An absolute tour de force of a piece.
