Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Hundred Antiquities Plate Qing Yongzheng 18th C. With vibrant enamels, with “The Hundred Antiquities” and peonies. All within a shou-shaped panel outlined in blue, the everted rim encircled by an intricate pink-ground border incorporating different flowers and landscapes. Is a miscellaneous or general collection of emblematic forms comprising the Eight Treasures, the Four Treasures, the symbols of Four Fine Arts (music, chess, calligraphy, and painting) together with numerous conventional representations of sacrificial vessels, flowers, animals. Visible damage: both sides on the left and right were repaired and glued, the right side has also staples approx. 21cm length and 4cm depth, and the left has an M-Shape crack approx. 7.5cm length x 3cm depth, between 1 x hairline vertical approx. 5cm long, with some factory fault spots, small fritting on the edge of the rim, light scratches and loss of enamel. Chinese Export Famille Rose Lobed Bowl Hundred Antiques Qianlong Mark/Late 19th

Lovely antique Chinese Export lobed footed bowl. The bowl features delicate famille rose palette enamels on white ground and depicts skillfully painted images of vases, flowers, scrolls etc, I believe this to be considered a type of Hundred Treasures pattern. Symbol of vase is a Symbol for peace since the word “vase” in Chinese sounds much like the word for “peace”. Shown with a wide variety of plants and flowers, the vase gives rise to a broad field of symbolisms. The bowl measures 7.3/8W x 5 3/4 W from side to side and 2.5H. The bowl is marked on the underside with Qianlong mark, however to the best of my knowledge it is not of the period. This wonderful piece was made approximately during late 19th, early 20th century. The condition is good overall, enamels are beautiful; typical wear and small scabs related to use on the bottom of the foot; gilt wear on the rims, wear to finish on the interior; production related imperfections. Please note two chips in the rim area (pictured), however they are not very noticeable and dont take away from overall look. It is a lovely bowl that will make beautiful addition and add charm to any collection of Chinese Export porcelain.
