CHINESE’GARLIC HEAD’ DRAGON & PHOENIX VASE. A finely crafted Chinese suantouping (garlic-head) polychrome famille rose enameled vase with underglaze blue doucai design. Marked with the blue six character Qianlong reign mark but stylistically dates from the Guangxu period (as most apocryphal Qianlong marked pieces). Gold enameled rim ring & detailing. Very fine craquelure on the base ring enamels as well as an iridescence to the green glazes on the piece indicating some age. Dimensions : 9″ H x 4.5″ Dia (middle). Condition : Good overall condition. This is only a small increase for US buyers however for international buyers it can be substantial as Canada Post only provides certain countries with this option.
