Antique Chinese famille rose relief decorated mandarin palette vase, Qianlong Period. A very beautiful and rare famille rose mandarin palette vase from the Qianlong Period. Relief work of two vine trees climbing one side of the vase each with grapes and squirrels hiding in the grape vines. Very special and high class pottery. Checked with UV Light. The vase has a small retouched and filled nick to the top rim. A few places of the relief work has minor retouch. (see last two pictures) Minor glaze scratches but nothing going through. The vase is skew from the manufacturing. This can be rectified by using a pad under the side of the vase to make stand straighter if one wishes. High: 30 cm or 11,8 Inch. This also includes to carefully look at all pictures. Please contact me if you require any additional information or more pictures. The judgement of the condition and age, color of the object is based on our personal opinion and experience. If you have a different opinion, we are happy to discuss with you. We always try to take pictures in natural light and do not use filters to make the appearance as close to the real thing as possible. Our responsibility ends when the object has been packed safe and carefully and handed over to the post office in Sweden. Any difference in the condition of the object will be compared and judged by us. Measures approximately 9″ tall, 5″ between its widest points, 2½” x 2½” opening at the top, 2″ x 2″ at the base, and with weight of 1 lb. Your understanding is much appreciated. Vase on footing, cylindrical body swelling toward a long neck with elephant heads handles. On the body of vase, depicts with relief of lotus, diaper, and rectangular ruyi to set off the splendid phoenix, which is propitious symbol in China. Under side of the vase is Qing Qianlong seal. This is a reproduction of Qing dynastys during the 1900s. Measures approximately 15½” tall, 8¼” between its widest points, 4½” diameter opening at the top, 4¾” diameter at the base, and with weight of 6 lb. Your understanding is much appreciated.
