Chinese Porcelain Vase Hat Stand Famille Noire Floral Bird Lotus Qianlong Mark

Approx 9.25″ tall, 3.25″ diameter, 2 5/8 at opening. Matte black background with gloss glazed hand painted polychrome lotus, bird, dragon and floral design. Gold gilt rim, very little wear. Minor wear/marks as pictured, no chips or cracks. Overall in excellent vintage condition!

Chinese famille rose basket and stand, Qianlong (1736-95), of oval form with spreading perforated sides and foliate rim the interior well decorated with floral sprays within an interlinked chain the rim with a floral hatched cellular border, the exterior with moulded floral motif, with twin looped upright gilded handles; the stand similarly decorated with perforated sides, the rims gilded; diameter of stand: 10 1/4 in. ; height of basket: 3 3/4 in. The idea for fruit baskets is derived from the Meissen factory after about 1740. Update Due to current restrictions our access to some of our stock is limited. Beautiful Large Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Planter & Stand. Finely Hand Painted in thick’fencai’ famille rose enamles. One side decorated with Birds, Sprawling Branches and Blossom, the other painted with an Imperial Poem by the Emperor Qianlong together with the relevant Seal Marks. Dating from the mid 20th century. Republic Period / Peoples Republic of China Period. The Planter and Stand together Measure 17.5cm tall x 24.5cm at its widest. Planter is in Excellent overall condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The stand has had a small chip to the rim which has been re-glued.
