An Excellent Chinese Famille Rose Temple Jar and Cover, Qianlong Period. Measures: Vase height 15 1/2 (39 1/2 cm). With some wear to the enamel decoration and glaze, including an abrasion or glaze crack approx. 2 inches long at the top of one decorative panel; with some fritting at the widest point of the base, just above the foot, the foot with a chip and the underside with firing cracks and firing flaws, as expected. Huge Chinese temple jar famille rose peach Qianlong Yongzheng style 51cm tall

Standard

This is a massive temple jar at 51cm or 20 inches in height. I fell in love with it as it is really well painted and I have admired it for many years. I believe this is Famille Rose and it has peaches all around it- I have shown photos of all the sides. I bought it over 20 years ago at an antiques fair and was advised it is old, but I do not know the exact age. It has no markings. It has a little wear to the inside of the lid and base- please see photos. But otherwise it is in very good condition with no chips nor cracks nor crazing. It is 20 inches in height and at the widest part is about 14 inches in diameter. It is heavy at 8.9kg. Weekday daytime collections are possible as well as evenings and weekends.
