Antique Chin Famille Rose Cream Jug & Lid, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period

This antique, 18th century, Chinese Export porcelain cream jug with its lid, comes from what is known as the Chien Lung period in China. The cream jug is made in the classic melon shape with what is known as a sparrow beak. The delightful and classical pattern of sprigs of rose, pink flowers, known as Famille Rose pattern, and the vivid puce and pink diaper border, always make an appealing jug. This is why the West loved importing this precious ware. The colours are still unfaded and much of the jug is in good condition. The lid also has had restoration. It measures 6″ (15cm) high and from the jug’s belly to the handle it is 4″ (10cm) wide and its diameter is 1 ½ (3.5cm). Although there has been restoration on this piece, (my price reflects this) it is still a very lovely, desirable piece of Chinese Export ware and a lovely addition to any collection.

Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of history with this stunning Qianlong Qing Dynasty Famille Rose Vase. A Qianlong era Qing dynasty Famille Rose vase circa 1750 – 1780. This Chinese bottle-shaped or or bulb shaped vase is in the classic Famille Rose palette, and is just slightly under 7 inches in height. It features hand gilded gold decoration appearing primarily on one side of vase. This was known as clobbering or clobbered decoration, which is the application of gold to the porcelain which was then re-fired. It was usually done in Europe after the porcelain was imported from China, to appeal to European taste in the late 17th and 18th century. It added to the cost of the vase, so some examples show this added gilding on one side of the vase only, as does this example. The obverse view showing a Butterfly, Bird and Flowers has much less gold, and in the original less gilded decoration. It has the expected frit on the underside/base. This attractive example of antique Chinese porcelain is in fine condition. Flaws noted; two(2) flea bites felt along the base edge; the first one a mere 1/16 in length; while the other one is barely noticeable and much smaller than the first. There is some expected minor wear to the gilding along the mouth, but it is mostly intact. Height is 6 7/8 inches. Width (top outside diameter) is 1 inch. Width (top inside diameter) is. Qing Dynasty Rare Chinese Famille Rose Enamel Porcelain Vase Yellow SCAFFIATO

Antique Rare Chinese Famille Rose Ground Enamel panel on Porcelain. The yellow area has a detailed SCAFFIATO. Excellent quality decoration all hand painted and hand drawn outlines in opaque famille rose enamels. The front panel features a bird carrying a sprig and beautiful flowers and leaves. The inside and underside of the vase is plain white with very few flecks of brown throughout the vase. There are no chips or Cracks. One area on the rim is missing the yellow enamel paint, and there is some discoloration in the yellow area to the side of the ground enamel area. Antique Chinese Qian Long Dynasty Famille Rose Porcelain 10 Garden Seat

This is an Antique Qianlong (1736 – 1795) Dynasty Porcelain 10 Garden Seat with the Famille Rose Pattern. This Garden Seat is a Rare small seat measuring 10″ tall and 7″ in diameter at the top and bottom. The Garden Seat is nice and heavy weighing 7 LBS 11 OZ. The Bottom has the Qianlong Dynasty “year made” mark on the bottom. The Qianlong years were from 1736 to 1795. This Garden seat has the popular, at the time, Famille Rose pattern, with a Family Garden Scene on both sides. The Garden Seat is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my knowledge. Some wear is to be expected, unless described as flawless or mint. I can’t know everything about every item I offer, I do inspect each item and list all known flaws or damage. This antique, 18th century, Chinese Export porcelain cream jug, is in very good condition. Being over 200 years old, from the Chien Lung period in China, it is remarkably fresh and unblemished. It still has its original lid, which appears in very good condition. On closer inspection, I believe there might have been a tiny chip which has been repaired. But it is very difficult to spot. Its handle is also good and without repairs or cracks. The cream jug is made in the classic melon shape with what is known as a sparrow beak. The delightful and classical pattern of sprigs of rose, pink flowers, known as Famille Rose pattern, and the vivid puce and pink diaper border, always make an appealing jug. This is why the West loved importing this precious ware. It measures 5 ½” high (14cm), including the lid and finial, and from the belly of the jug to the handle, it measures 4 ¼” inches wide (10.5cm). The diameter of the jug is 1 ¾ (4.5cm).

This vintage Chinese charger plate features the beautiful Famille Rose design, with intricate enameled flowers and butterflies on a Cobalt blue background and mustard yellow trim. The large 14 size makes it a stunning centerpiece for any display or table setting. The plate is Apocryphal Qing Dynasty with the Qianlong mark, although the exact age is unknown.
