Description – Pair Chinese porcelain cups decorated with hand painted view of Jia Chang stamping his left foot to call the chickens in a setting of blue rocks and peonies, Jia Chang shown facing the rooster with hen and four chicks on reverse beneath poetic inscription. Underglaze painted Qianlong Fanggu seal mark to bottom, however we feel they are later examples dating from the Early Republic Period. Fine artwork on these cups. Age – Republic Period (Pre – 1949). Size – Approximately 2 + 3/4 inches by 3 + 1/8 inches diameter. Condition – Age appropriate, we find no chips or cracks, see photos for compete assessment.
