Antique Chin Famille Rose Cream Jug & Lid, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period
This antique, 18th century, Chinese Export porcelain cream jug with its lid, comes from what is known as the Chien Lung period in China. The cream jug is made in the classic melon shape with what is known as a sparrow beak. The delightful and classical pattern of sprigs of rose, pink flowers, known as Famille Rose pattern, and the vivid puce and pink diaper border, always make an appealing jug. This is why the West loved importing this precious ware. The colours are still unfaded and much of the jug is in good condition. The lid also has had restoration. It measures 6″ (15cm) high and from the jug’s belly to the handle it is 4″ (10cm) wide and its diameter is 1 ½ (3.5cm). Although there has been restoration on this piece, (my price reflects this) it is still a very lovely, desirable piece of Chinese Export ware and a lovely addition to any collection.
Antique Chinese Canton Enamel Copper Lotus Lobed Dish Famille Verte Shou Lao
Extremely rare antique Chinese Canton enamel famille verte dish in the form of a lotus blossom, with lobed edges. The central roundel depicts the God of Longevity, Shou Lao. Shoulao (Shou Lao) is recognizable by his tall, over sized forehead. Representing wisdom and long beard representing long life. He is sitting at a rock formation beneath a tall pine tree. He has a gourd containing elixir tied to his staff and a scroll in his right hand. It is quite rare to see Shou Lao with a scroll. To the right of Shou Lao there are two deer, which also are symbols of long life. To the left there is a figure possibly a scholar, either sitting or kneeling. The radiating petals in’famille verte’ palette are decorated with pink flowers and blue-green foliage. The reverse is turquoise enamel. The unusual shape and colours of this dish make me think. That it might be from the Qianlong period (1736-95). At the widest point it measures 19cm in diameter. Condition: The outer border has enamel loss and cracks which reveal the copper below. The centre roundel does not have any enamel loss, but has fine star cracks. This item is described as accurately as possible but. Please see all the photos as they form and are an important part of the description. Thank you for viewing.

Antique Chinese Qing Famille Rose Porcelain Figurine Emperor Qianlong
It depicts a young Qianlong with a Ruyi and plant in his hands. The enamel colors used during the Qianlong period were very rich, deep and vibrant. The figure depicts a laughing boy on one knee holding a ruyi (sceptor) in one hand and a fruit in the other hand. The pink color enamel is characteristic of Chinese Famille Rose porcelain. Which was an important symbol used during the reign of the Emperor Qianlong. The porcelain boy figurine was made with great attention to detail which is especially seen in his clothing attire. The figurine weighs a solid 10.5 ounces and measures 7 inches in height, 4 inches in width. To find an authentic piece such as this, is very rare. I would recommend that you compare this piece to others on the internet to see how different an authentic piece from the 18th century Qianlong period compares to one that is not.
