Two Panels Hand Painted with an European Hunt scene, Lady and Gentlemen riders with hounds. Unmarked from Qianlong Reign (1736 to 1795) and made for export to the European market. Overall height 9 1/2 inches, diameter 10 inches approx. Very Good condition with no chips or cracks.

19th CENTURY CHINESE QING DYNASTY QIANLONG HAND PAINTED ENAMELED PORCELAIN GINGER JAR VASE WITH HAVING UNUSUAL WESTERN FOX HUNT SCENE WITH MALE AND FEMALE FIGURES RIDING ON HORSES. SURROUNDING THEM ARE SCENT HOUND DOGS. THE MALE AND FEMALE FIGURES ARE EACH HOLDING A WHIP AND THE MALE IS BLOWING A HORN. IN THE BACKGROUND A BUILDING CAN BE SEEN ALSO IN THE SCENE ARE TREES, AND FLOWERS. MADE 19TH TO EARLY 20TH CENTURY. DA QING QIANLONG NIAN ZHI “GREAT QING QIANLONG PERIOD MAKE”. DIMENSIONS ARE APPROXIMATE: 10-1/4″ Tall, 8″ Wide/Diameter. Diameter of jar opening is about 3-1/4. No chips, cracks or crazing. Great Vintage condition showing wear on bottom from being displayed.

Of globular melon shape with stalk-finial lids; yellow ground bodies are ornately hand-painted with polychrome pink, blue and green enamels. Intricate nature motif depicting foliage, lotus flowers and butterflies; the jars are trimmed at the top and at the base with geometric borders. Red seal mark to base with double outlines – Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi – “Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made”. 27 cm tall to lid finial. 21.5 cm tall to rim. 14 cm across bases. 21 cm across widest point. Tiny chip to the rim of one lid.

ANTIQUE QIANLONG 19th CENTURY CHINESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE GINGER JAR WITH LID. THIS IS A. QIANLONG 19th CENTURY CHINESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE LIDDED GINGER JAR. THE QIANLONG 6 SYMBOL IRON-RED MARK IS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BASE. IT HAS A DOUBLE BORDER. THE ONLY OTHER 2 SYMBOLS ARE ALSO IN A BLOCK AND THEY ARE A’15’ AND A’25’ WHICH ARE VERY FADED. THE 15 IS STAMPED ON THE BASE IN THE SAME RED COLOR AS THE QIANLONG MARK AND THE 25 IS STAMPED ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE LID IN THAT SAME RED COLOR HUE AS WELL. CONDITION: VERY GOOD CONDITION. THERE ARE NO CHIPS, CRACKS, CRAZING, OR REPAIRS. FOR ITS AGE, THIS PIECE IS IN INCREDIBLE SHAPE. LITERALLY, THE ONLY’WEAR’ THAT WE SEE IS SOME BASIC SHELF-WEAR ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BASE, MOSTLY AROUND THE RING, AND A COUPLE STAINS OR MARKS OF MATERIAL ON THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE INTERIOR INSIDE THE JAR. ALL THE SPOTS OF WHITE THAT SHOW THROUGH WHERE IT SHOULD BE BLUE OR PINK OR YELLOW IS FROM WHEN IT WAS HAND-PAINTED, IT IS NOT PAINT FADE. EVERYTHING IS VISIBLE IN OUR PHOTOGRAPHS. 13.5 TALL (with lid). 12.25 TALL (w/o lid). 9 WIDEST DIAMETER. 3.5 JAR OPENING WIDTH. 6.75 BASE DIAMETER.
