Superb Pair of Large Antique Chinese Vases from the Qing Dynasty. Rare and beautiful vases depicting a scene of maidens/ladies in an ornamental garden in a famille rose design with the reds and cobalt blues found in pottery from the Qing Dynasty Era. The mark on the base roughly translates to Great Qing Qianlong Period Make, the Qing period ran up until the early 20th Century but Qianlong suggests they are from as early as the 18th Century. They are quite unique and very special, I havent seen any examples quite like this design before. Height: 31cm / 12. Width: 14cm / 5 1/2. In excellent antique condition with no fading or rubbing to the pattern and no crazing. There is a chip in the rim of one of the vases but the other is perfect.
