Famille Rose palette with polychrome hand painted enamels. Sloping rim with pink and green bands and blooms, beautiful floral arrangement in the center with pink peonies among red and blue flowers. Bold, shiny colors, characteristic for the period. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE FOR MORE PHOTOS! 13.3 diameter (across). Weighs about 2 lb. Condition: Very Good overall. Small enamel loss in the center; hairline at the rim, thigh and stable, does not show on the front; minor, unobtrusive “flea bite” on the under side of the edge. Please see photos below. 3x Antique Chinese Food Warming Plate Dish Famille Rose 1800 Daoguang Qianlong

Standard

Three I believe matching food warming plates or dishes. Chinese, Famille Rose, beginning of 1800’s. I believe them to be either Qianlong or Daoguang. Diameter around the 24 cm. Each plate the diameter varies a little bit. Overall condition very good. Some minor spots of rubbing. Plate 1: Slight loss of gilding on the rim around 1-2 o’clock. Firing pin hole and small rubbing spot. (both next to bottom purple person). Firing pin hole in rim. Bit more gilding wear on the rim. 3 spots of rubbing wear. (right of the person on the right in the orange and feet) and next to basket on the left. Slightly different design on the rim but main objects are the same. Red line added to the gilding. Inside spout not gilded like the other 2. Very slight gilding loss on the rim, 3 small rubbing spots. I think there is a story line told in the 3 plates. Please ask any questions or extra photo’s. Rare Chinese Yongzheng/Qianlong Period Famille Rose Plate with Cockerel. Condition: In good condition, no hairline or restorations. Only some nibbles/fritting/shallow chips to the back of the rim as well as foot rim. Some original firing faults. Some rubbing to the enamel. Please exam all the photos carefully as they form part of this description. Dimension: 22.6cm dia. All description provided here is based on my knowledge on Chinese Art and History. Pair 18th c. Chinese Famille Rose Deer Plate Yongzheng/Qianlong Period. #27

Standard

Both are brightly decorated in thickly applied enamels with, at the center, a deer surrounded by sprays of flowers, a bowl of fruit and two scrolls. They also have a heavily enameled, colorfully decorated floral border. The Sacred Fungus symbol appears on the reverse. Size and Condition: 8 3/4 inches in diameter, 1 1/4 inches high. Both pieces are in nice condition. One plate has a slight hairline, the other is fine (see last 2 pictures). Please be sure to enlarge the photos for more detail and don’t hesitate to ask questions. Chinese famille rose’double peacock’ plate, Qianlong (1736 -95), painted in bright enamels and gilt, the centre with a peacock and peahen perched on rockwork beside a large peony-blossom amongst various flowering branches, within a spear-head border to the cavetto, the wide rim with garlands of flowers enclosed by a geometric patterned border, interspersed by cartouches containing scroll, diameter: 23 cm. , condition: 3 shallow chips and slight fritting to rim. The Sacred Fungus symbol appears on the reverse. The plate has retained it’s original metal hanger. Size and Condition: 9 inches in diameter, about 1 inch high.
