Außergewöhnliche Schale/Becken mit ausgestelltem Rand; Porzellan in den klassischen Emailfarben der “Famille Noire” (Schwarz, Gelb, Blau, Aubergine und 3 Grüntönen) pastos mit blühenden Pflanzen auf Glasur bemalt. Die zeitliche Angabe ist, den chinesischen Gebräuchen entsprechend, jedoch als Reminiszenz an den großen Kaiser zu verstehen – mehr als 99 % aller existierenden Objekte mit der Marke der Qianlong-Periode wurden später hergestellt. Diese Schale dürfte aus den 1930/40er Jahren stammen. Die Schale befindet sich in einem tadellosen, unrestaurierten Zustand! Durchmesser 39,5 cm, Höhe 12 cm, Gewicht ca. Exceptional bowl/pan with flared rim; porcelain in the classic enamel colours of the “Famille Noire” (black, yellow, blue, aubergine and 3 shades of green) pasto painted with flowering plants on glaze. The time is to be understood as a reminiscence to the great emperor – more than 99% of all existing objects with the brand of the Qianlong period were produced later. An antique Chinese porcelain vase enamelled in the Famille Verte palette with two large reserved stylised lotus petal shaped cartouches decorated with a hollow rock, peony flowers, bamboo and butterflies. All on a ground of formal lotus and clematis floral spray scrolls. The sides are decorated with with bats and the stylised symbol (shòu) with a meaning for Longevity. The shoulder has a green and blue diaper border between four floral cartouches. The long slightly flaring neck with a raised central ribbed band is decorated with reserved floral cartouches also on a ground of formal lotus and clematis sprays. This beautiful vase was made during the reign of the Emperor Qianlong in the Qing dynasty in the 18th Century circa 1750. The base has a blank double ring mark in underglaze blue. The vase in soft or pastel colours (Ruancai) is in excellent antique condition, it has some wear to the gilding, there are no chips, cracks nor restoration. This is a most attractive item to add to any collection of antique 18th century Chinese porcelain or simply as a statement piece in any interior. The origin of porcelain pottery-making technology dates back 6000 years to the Neolithic period, and the related technologies and skills were continuously developed throughout early Chinese history. By the time the industry had matured during the Song Dynasty (960 – 1279), porcelain was an indispensable item for daily use in all sectors of society and was exported by land and sea. Famille rose (French: “rose family”) is the group of Chinese porcelain wares characterized by decoration painted in opaque overglaze pink enamel rose colors. These colors were known to the Chinese as yangcai (“foreign color”) because they were first introduced from Europe (around 1685). Famille rose porcelain was perfected at the famous Jingdezhen kilns under the directions of Nian Xiyao?
