A Qianlong Famille Rose Dish, Seal Mark And Of The Period, 1736-95. Colorful Kirin/Qilin painted at center of the plate with Ruyi border in iron red. This type of dish is well-known as “Shi Jin”, used to display an assortment of food in the palace and became a popular item among the royal families. It has superb craftsmanship and delicateness. Size: 5 7/8 in. Condition: Item is in good condition as shown in pictures except for two hairlines at the rim. It has the usual wear and scratches that are expected to occur over the years. Unusual decoration with a qilin and birds on a branch. Possibly the lid is not original, not sure. The red circled lines are the same on pot and lid but just not sure. Overall Condition; 1 large line on body. 2 chips to body (1 small and 1 larger). Also chip to base rim. Size 160mm diameter approx. 18th century Qing (1661 – 1912). We can not control this.
