This beautiful famille rose vase was artistry crafted and painted by the royal artists of the Qianlong Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. One of the most distinctive features of this vase is the five sculptures peaches. Peaches in the Chinese cultures are symbolizing longevity. On the bottom of the vase, it has a Qinglong seal mark. A rare, Chinese porcelain teapot, of unusual, small size, dating to the 18th Century (Qianlong period). Painted in Famille Rose colours with panels of flowers, against a “trellis” ground. Measuring 4″ high and 5.25″ long from the spout to the handle. There is a professional restoration to the lid, and there is a “bruise” on one side with faint, radiating cracks(see photos).
