The Flattened Form Vase or Flask Shape Vase Depicts Two Cartouches With Chinese Figures Engaged in Various Activities Surrounded by Typically Chinese Elements. Outside The Cartouches, The Vase Has Been Decorated With Puce And Famille Rose Enamels Depicting Sprays Of Stemmed Flowers. The Entire Combination of The Decorative Elements of This Vase Demonstrate an Awareness And Knowledge of The Meissen Chinoiserie Style. It Was Clearly a Design And Decorative Technique That Was Employed to Imitate The European Factory of Meissen, Who at This Time Were Decorating Quantities of Their Porcelain Products in a Chinoiserie Genre That Was Experiencing Great Popularity.
