Chinese Antique Qing Qianlong Famille Rose Porcelain plate or shallow bowl. Please review all pics under magnification as they are a major part of our description. The plate has typical signs of wear. There is some minor chipping on lip rim. The one that is noticeable can be seen in pics 19 & 20. There is also some chipping along the inside and outside edges of the foot rim (see pics 21-24). We neither saw any hairline cracks with the naked eye, nor felt any. We do realize, however, that there is always the possibility of some that extremely fine ones may be present and detected with sophisticated equipment or special lighting. The bowl weighs about 14 or 15 ounces is roughly 8.75″ in diameter and 1.5″ tall. The bowl is circular, but not perfectly so. Enamel wear and iron oxide spots should be obvious in the photos. We realize the fragility and irreplaceability of early Chinese porcelain. This bowl will be well protected for transit and double boxed.
